UK based here and trying to sign up for a Connect account to upload my apps, but my payment keeps being declined. The options state that both Debit and Credit cards are accepted, so why am I unable to sign up ? My iPhone is still iOS 15 so I cannot download the developer app and still on Big Sur I cannot download the macOS version, ridiculous ! I don't know if signing up via Apple's Developer app would allow the payment to go through or not, but the web based version is not working for me. I have read on other threads that Debit Card users need to submit ID, I can't imagine why, but it's not clearly stated at the sign up process, so I cannot be sure.

Hello, We have discovered an app on the App Store that has copied our application entirely, including the UI interface, icons, and artwork. The only difference is a single letter in the app name, while the logo remains remarkably similar. We couldn't find a report button on the App Store page. How can we report it? Thank you,

My app is showing as size of 2.4 GB on the app store. Its actually 290 mb after fully installed on a device. If any user downloads the app on LTE / cell signal it pops a message saying that the app size is 4.3 GB. App Name : GOHUNT / Research and Huning Maps

Album art in App Store screenshots of music apps: OK or not? The only reason I ask is that I see several apps in the store that feature album artwork by artists like Taylor Swift, The Beatles, Radiohead and so on. Across the internet everyone says this it's a no-no if you don't own the copyright of the images. I get that but what's the deal with all these apps? Are these devs simply taking chances each time they submit for review?

While uploading the application into the TestFlight the following error received, ITMS-90714: Invalid binary - The app contains one or more corrupted binaries. Please rebuild the app and resubmit. After sometimes generate same configuration the application successfully submitted on the TestFlight. We are using Xcode 15.3

We are received the following error while uploading the application into TestFlight. **ITMS-90714: Invalid binary - The app contains one or more corrupted binaries. Please rebuild the app and resubmit. ** After sometimes we submit the same application without changing the configurations application submitted successfully into the App Store. We are using the Xcode 15.3 version.

Hello, For a short time before and just after we announce our app we would like to make it available by direct link only. We don't want it to be searchable on the app store. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so, what the best way to do this is? Thanks

There is at least one app in AppStore (Prisma: Photo Editor, Filters), that suggest 1 day of free trial, but if you accept it, your card will be charged next day for full price of year subscription, even if you already removed app from your device and canceled subscription during this free trial day. This looks like fraud. Developers refuse to take responsibility for this. Apple support chat confirms, that such situatioin is a kind of not ok, but they are not going to do anything about it at all. Is it a known issue of AppStore? Do you know other apps like this? Is there any chance for people that were forced to purchase such subscription to get a compensation? How to setup such trial and subscription settings for my app?

Queria saber como altero a linguagem do meu aplicativo postado, pois escolhi tudo português no cadastro do App e quando foi publicado aparece o idioma EN(Inglês) na App Store. Não sei mais o que fazer, alguém pode me ajudar por gentileza.

I have a macOS app (AppKit-based, not Mac Catalyst) and an iOS app serving a very similar purpose and user group. Both are currently using non-consumable IAPs to unlock functionalities. I‘m considering a subscription model and wonder if both apps could share the same IAP products. I‘m well aware that both apps need to use the same Bundle ID / App Store Connect entry, so I‘m willing to discontinue the existing Bundle IDs (while keeping the apps installable for existing customers), but Apple‘s info about „Universal Purchase“ is only mentioning Mac Catalyst apps for macOS: Mac Catalyst. With Xcode 11.4 or later, Mac apps built with Mac Catalyst can share a bundle ID with the iOS version of the app, so universal purchase is supported. Can an AppKit-based macOS app and an iOS app share the save Bundle ID and offer a Universal Purchase?

I am trying to disable the screenshot on iOS app but apple does not expose any api for this. Due to which I added a workaround when iPhone will try to take screenshot we have a textfield in secured way which will cover the whole screen and screenshot will be blank. Does anyone tried the same approach to avoid screenshot? if yes did apple act against those application or they reject if they find. It will be great help if Apple can provide us some insight on it.

What documents would count for verifying my address for the EU DSA? Do I have to own the address, or just be reachable from it? My family has a PO Box that they share that I was hoping to use so I don't have to list my home address, or pay for my own box that would rarely receive any mail.

Hello, I call transaction information for several apps. And I don't have environment information. That's why I'm calling the sandbox environment as an official guide. Call the endpoint using the production URL. If the call succeeds, the transaction identifier belongs to the production environment. If you receive an error code 4040010 TransactionIdNotFoundError, call the endpoint using the sandbox environment. If the call succeeds, the transaction identifier belongs to the sandbox environment. If the call fails with the same error code, the transaction identifier isn’t present in either environment. However, unlike the official guide, certain apps sometimes use production URLs to call endpoints to receive 401 status codes and successfully call endpoints using the sandbox environment. Why does this difference occur unlike the official guide? I receive a 401 status code in response from a production environment endpoint, I want to know if this status code is a real error or if I have to call it into a sandbox environment. Can I check with the key 'x-apple-request-uuid' in the response header? Please let me know the solution.

On App Store there is the new request to declared if I am a trader operator or not under the new EU law. As many I'm a single developer so the declaration can be reduced to "any natural person [...] who is acting [...] for purposes relating to his or her trade, business, craft or profession.", to learn more Apple links to EU commission. I'm not 100% sure if, a single developer whit very small business and which use only Apple Store to distribute its apps, can declared "This is the account of a supplier who is not a trader". Is someone more legal expert than me able to replay?

My company has some private apps that are distributed via redemption codes (no ability to do MDM in this instance). If I try and open the app in the app store it shows a "Cannot Connect" error message. Similarly, if I try and link to the app programmatically through the app (https://apps.apple.com/app/id) I get "App Not Available" in the app store. Both of these seem to have the same cause, and they mean that I can't link to the app in the App Store when I detect that an update is available. Is there any alternative for this to allow my users to more easily update the app? Alternatively I think it would be good enough to link to App Store >> Account and have them scroll down to the Updates section, but my testing of it has shown that I can only link to the App Store, or App Store >> Account >> Subscriptions successfully. When I try to link to App Store >> Account it opens the bottom sheet but displays a "We've run into a problem. Please try again later." message. What would the best way for me to make the process of updating apps easy on my users given these hurdles?
